Battery Compartment
The 9-Volt battery slides into the side of the guitar next to the strap button. To replace the battery, loosen the two screws. They are designed to stay captive in the cover plate. The best screwdriver to use is a dime, as it can't scratch the finish on the cover. To replace the cover, hold it firmly in its nest before tightening the screws.
